Biography

Angelot Ndongmo is a Canadian children's author, dance instructor, cheerleading coach, and child and youth worker based in Ontario, Canada. Born in Canada and of Cameroonian heritage, she is the founder of the Loving Me® brand, a collection of children's books, apparel, and educational resources designed to promote self-love, confidence, and positive self-image in young readers.

Angelot is the author of the award-winning children's books Loving Me! and Boy! I Am Loving Me!, which have received recognition including the My People Literature Award and the Arts Acclaim Award. Through her writing, she creates stories that encourage children to celebrate who they are and develop healthy self-esteem.

Her first young adult novel, Between Classes, is scheduled for release in Spring 2026 through James Lorimer & Company Ltd., expanding her work into fiction for teen readers.

Beyond writing, Angelot is actively involved in youth development and community engagement. She teaches soul line dancing through True North Steppaz, coaches children's cheerleading programs, and creates opportunities for young people to build confidence through movement, teamwork, and creative expression.

Through her books, classes, and community programs, Angelot Ndongmo continues to inspire children, youth, and families across Canada.
